About US

"Our work celebrates the people, places, and industries that have shaped our community".

We are a volunteer-led historical group dedicated to preserving and sharing the heritage of our district.

Our work celebrates the people, places, and industries that have shaped our community—from the enduring legacy of Aboriginal custodianship and the resilience of early farming families to stories of wartime service and rural life that continue to define our region.

As we grow, we’re finding new ways to bring these stories to life—making them more engaging, inclusive, and meaningful for future generations. With the help of local support, small projects, and thoughtful planning, we aim to keep our history alive and evolving while staying true to our roots. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together, and we look forward to what’s ahead.
